Disney Magic Cruise Ship – Experience the magic

The Disney Magic Cruise Ship has all the features which will remind you of the original magic of Walt Disney’s characters. This is actually the original cruise which was operated by the Disney cruise line. This company is the shipping subsidiary of the Walt Disney Company and has a few other ships which give an excellent cruising experience to its guests. Built by the famous Italian ship building company, Fincantieri in the year, 1998, the cruise has grown by leaps and bounds in terms of the service and entertainment facilities that are provided aboard. Along with this liner, the Walt Disney company has another ship under its banner which is actually a sister ship of this one, the Disney Wonder. This one was launched in the year, 1999, one year after the launch of the first boat.

The Disney Magic Cruise has a carrying capacity of almost 2500 passengers including the highly trained and hospitable crew. Hospitality is a feature which Walt Disney has long been associated to. The ship usually travels on one week tours though passengers can opt to travel for three day or four day trips also. This includes Castaway Cay, the private island of Walt Disney. There are other ports also which are visited on a regular basis such as St. Maarten, St. Thomas, St. Croix, and Tortola. Apart from these, Key West, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel are also visited but all these stops vary from trip to trip and specific courses. For example, in the July of 2005, the trip chartered off to the west coast to commemorate the golden jubilee of Walt Disney. It is guaranteed that once aboard, there is only and only nonstop entertainment. This can be attributed to the fact that Walt Disney has been known to entertain the world since a long time with his comical cartoon characters and the fantastic films. But apart from this also, there are games and events throughout the tour to keep the atmosphere festive and jolly. To keep the magic alive around the world of the original Walt Disney, the line has already begun plans of launching two new ships, bigger and better than the existing ones by 2012 or earlier.
