Cruise Ship Ratings: How Helpful Are They To First-Timers? - Part 2

Passengers should know that these ratings are subjective since the sources have different tastes and preferences. So, a review or rating of one can be contrasting to another purely because they are totally different individuals. This makes these ratings rather misleading sometimes.

These ratings are good bases in shortening a list of choices. First-timers can list down what they want to enjoy during their onboard vacation; match the list with the researched ratings while considering their budget and they get one more step closer to a good decision.

What are these ratings?

Ratings vary. It could be in terms of numbers or flags or percentage. But one common way is to state the number of stars that serve as their accolades. A six-star or five-star rated cruise ship is top of the line. It belongs to the luxury class, which is sold in terms of thousands of dollars. The ratings given these cruise ships say a lot about their innovative facilities or unique, luxuriant amenities.

A four-star rated cruise may be a lower rating and cheaper, but it still has the great qualities that make up a cruise adventure. A three-star may seem so budgeted, but again, ratings are subjective and a three-star cruise ship may not be that bad at all.

These cruise ship ratings that first-timers will stumble upon when they plan their cruise trips will be helpful. It's just really a matter of knowing their preferences against the rated services.
